Marriage is a besieged city. The insiders are longing to be out, but the outsiders can't wait to be in.
Now I'm an insider. Though I am not so desperate to go out, I sometimes think I might be some big wheel without marriage. Therefore, everytime I have a chat with my single friends, I always advise them to cherish the happiness of being single, and think twice before making any commitment. It's because marriage is not a dream castle which is decorated with love. Instead, marriage is a real, practical world, and even a princess has to turn into a worldly woman. No more flowers, no more sweet words. A fair lady has to learn how to make a delicious meal to catch her man's stomach. A spicy girl has to learn to be a rigid mom to cultivate a whiz kid. Man is still the same one before getting married, but woman is not like herself anymore. Just as the lyrics goes, "I've been to everywhere, but I've never been to me." (my favorite song by Charline.)
